What it takes to get somewhere

The process of getting ready to go somewhere.

Get your socks on.  Get your socks on.  Stop playing with the toy.  Get your socks on!!
Put your shoes on.  Put your shoes on.  You can only take one baby.  Put your shoes on!!
Put your coat on.  Put your coat on.  Get back here.  Put your coat on!!
Get in the car.  Get in the car.  Put the stick down.  Get in the car!!
Get in your car seat.  Get in your car seat.  Leave her alone.  Get in your car seat!  GET IN YOUR CAR SEAT!!

Every.  Step.  At.  Least.  Three.  Times.

Broken.
Record.

We are the exact same way!!! Tayson has made his ride to school wait a couple times because it took him 10 minutes to get his shoes and coat on. And it's not just going somewhere. It's getting dressed for bed, eating dinner, cleaning up the toys.... Glad I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Find the book 'Raising Self-Reliant Children in a Self-Indulgent World'. Can't think of the authors name at the moment. I think he addresses that.

Been there, done that!
